In mid-2020, we embarked on an exciting project with the RSPB to create their first-ever Legacy TV advert, which aired in March 2021. The goal was to develop an advert and comprehensive media campaign that conveyed the charity's values, promoted legacy giving to the RSPB, and boosted brand awareness. Our creative ideas stemmed from insights gathered during our successful RSPB Legacy Adaptive Acquisition campaign, positioning the RSPB as a dedicated community tackling the challenges facing nature. In collaboration with Aardman, we produced a touching TV ad featuring the voice of Jim Broadbent.
Inspired by the RSPB's Legacy proposition tagline "Your Legacy is Nature's Future," the Time Flies advert tells the story of a single bird's journey through time. Using enchanting animation, the narrative highlights the pressing issues facing nature and the broad impact of the RSPB's work in preserving it. The ad emphasises the need for long-term solutions to these challenges, as gifts in Wills play a crucial role in fuelling the RSPB's unwavering commitment to habitat restoration, species protection, and the expansion of the UK's largest network of nature reserves.
A legacy gift to the RSPB is presented as not only a long-lasting contribution to our shared world but also a powerful way to inspire future generations to cherish and engage with Britain's rich natural heritage.
